  • First Lady Sandra Deal and the Georgia Children’s Cabinet announced today the 2015 winners of the First Lady’s Servant’s Heart Award, recognizing outstanding selflessness and leadership in support of others.

  • Tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 24, First Lady Sandra Deal and fellow Children’s Cabinet members will make a series of visits to schools in the Metro-Atlanta area.

  • Atlanta – Governor Nathan Deal today signed a proclamation declaring April “Child Abuse Prevention Month.” First Lady Sandra Deal and the Georgia Children’s Cabinet, along with representatives from the Governor’s Office for Children and Families and Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, joined the Governor in recognizing this month.  Attendees sported the color blue and carried Pinwheels for Prevention. These nationally recognized symbols help bring awareness to Georgia’s child abuse prevention initiatives.
