Atlanta – Governor Nathan Deal today signed a proclamation declaring April “Child Abuse Prevention Month.” First Lady Sandra Deal and the Georgia Children’s Cabinet, along with representatives from the Governor’s Office for Children and Families and Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, joined the Governor in recognizing this month. Attendees sported the color blue and carried Pinwheels for Prevention. These nationally recognized symbols help bring awareness to Georgia’s child abuse prevention initiatives.
