July 26 marks the 27th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) becoming a law. The ADA has been crucial in expanding opportunities for more than 1.2 million Georgians living with disabilities by improving accessibility and promoting equal opportunity. This date represents an important milestone in the fight for equal opportunity, and we recognize it in Georgia as a symbol of our continued commitment to the principles laid out in the ADA.
