Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that Georgia’s net tax collections for December totaled nearly $2.06 billion, for an increase of $15.2 million, or 0.7 percent, compared to December 2015.
Deal announces school award winners, updates list of chronically failing schools

Gov. Nathan Deal, along with the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA), today announced that 218 Georgia public schools in 53 districts will receive the Highest Performing or Greatest Gains school awards, an increase of 31 schools from last year.
