Deal announces judicial appointment for Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of the Honorable Benjamin A. Land as superior court judge of the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit. Land will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable Frank J. Jordan Jr. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.
Benjamin A. Land
Land is a partner with Buchanan & Land, LLP in Columbus. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Land and his wife, Jill, have three children and reside in Columbus.
