Deal appoints four to boards
Cindy King, Georgia Board of Massage Therapy
King is the owner and operator of Cindy’s Therapeutic Massage. She also serves as a school bus driver for the Jones County Board of Education. King is a licensed therapeutic massage therapist and earned a paralegal certificate from Georgia College. She and her husband, Bert, have eight children and three grandchildren. They live in Gray.
Nancy A. Addison, Board of Natural Resources (reappointment)
Addison is the vice president and chief financial officer for Health Service Centers, Inc. She is a former chair of the North Georgia Mountains Authority and a former commissioner for the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission. Addison is a director for Majormatic, a South Africa-based company, and sits on the Safari Club International Foundation Advisory Board. She resides in Richmond Hill and has three children and two grandchildren.
S. Paul Shailendra, Board of Natural Resources (reappointment)
Shailendra is the president of SG Property Services, a real estate development and investment firm. He is a member of the Woodward Academy Advisory Council and serves as chairman of the Buckhead chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Shailendra serves on the Ft. McPherson Authority and sits on the board of the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. He also sits on the boards of directors for the Tharpe Fund and the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech. Shailendra is a former member of the real estate committee for the Woodruff Arts Center, Waterfowl USA and the Government Affairs Council of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. He previously sat on the boards of directors for the YMCA of Metro Atlanta and the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce. Shailendra is a graduate of L.E.A.D Atlanta and Leadership Georgia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. Shailendra and his wife, Amanda, have two children and live in Atlanta.
Charles Baker, Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Authority (reappointment)
Baker is the clerk of the Hall County Superior and State Courts. Before his election as clerk of court in 2008, Baker served Hall County for 30 years as a deputy clerk and chief deputy clerk. He also oversees the Hall County Traffic Violation Bureau and works as the appeal administrator for the Hall County Board of Equalization. Baker sits on the board of directors for the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority. He and his wife, Glenda, have one child and two grandchildren. They are members of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and reside in Hall County.
