Deal announces Richmond County judicial appointment

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Robert “Bo” W. Hunter III to a State Court judgeship within Richmond County. The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Richard A. Slaby. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.

Hunter is the sole practitioner in the Hunter Firm. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Hunter and his wife, Lisa, have one child and reside in Augusta.
