Pam Burnett, Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board (reappointment)
Burnett is the executive director of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals and has more than 40 years of experience in water management. Burnett is a past chair of the College of Engineering and Information Technology Advisory Board at Georgia Southern University and currently sits on the Kennesaw State University Master of Public Administration advisory board. She is a graduate of Leadership Cobb, Senior Leadership Gwinnett and the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership. Burnett earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. She has two children and one grandchild. Burnett lives in Brookhaven.
Bradley Currey, Jr., Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board (reappointment)
Currey retired as chairman, president and CEO of RockTenn Company. He sits on the boards of Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint Stakeholders Inc., the Carter Center and GRA Venture Fund LLC. Currey is a past chairman of the boards of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Emory University, the Lovett School, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Woodruff Arts Center. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and holds an honorary doctorate from Emory University. Currey and his wife, Sally, have four children and 10 grandchildren. They reside in Atlanta.
Kathryn “Kit” Dunlap, Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board (reappointment)
Dunlap is the president and CEO of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. She sits on the board of trustees for Brenau University and the boards of directors for Northeast Georgia Medical Center and SunTrust Bank of Northeast Georgia. Dunlap previously sat on the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade, and Tourism Board and was a founding member of the Gainesville-Hall County Economic Development Council. She has two children and two grandchildren. Dunlap resides in Gainesville.
Birdel Jackson, Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board (reappointment)
Jackson is a retired civil engineer and president of the Jackson-Davis Foundation. He sits on the Industrial Advisory Board for the University of Toledo and previously sat on The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering External Advisory Board at Georgia Tech. Jackson is a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Black Men of Atlanta Inc. and Black Pilots of America Inc. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo and a master’s degree from Georgia Tech. Jackson and his wife, Edith, have one daughter and two grandchildren. They live in Alpharetta.
Tim Lee, Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board
Lee is the executive director of the Habersham Partnership for Growth. He previously served as the chairman of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners. Lee and his wife, Annette, have three children and reside in Cornelia.
Glenn Page, Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board
Page is the general manager of the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Water Works Association, the Georgia Association of Water Professionals and the Water Environment Federation. Page is a graduate of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech. Page and his wife, Joy, have five children and five grandchildren. They live in Woodstock
Tracy Tesmer, State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors
Tesmer is the owner of Tracy Tesmer Design and Remodeling and has more than 36 years of experience in the construction industry. He sits on the Building Board of Appeals for the City of Gainesville. He earned an associate degree in Surveying and Construction Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Akron. Tesmer lives in Buford.
Edmund Zammit, State Construction Industry Licensing Board: Division of Utility Contractors
Zammit is the director of D. Lance Souther Inc., a utility contracting company in Macon. He previously owned general contracting businesses in Atlanta and Naples, Fla., and was a part of the Imagineering Team at Walt Disney World. Zammit and his wife, Jodi, have three children and reside in Perry.
Thomas Mash, Veterans Service Board
Mash retired as an operations manager for Abatement Technologies Inc. He is a past commander of the American Legion Department of Georgia. Mash and his wife, Susie, have four children and 12 grandchildren. They live in Lawrenceville.
