Deal announces solicitor general appointment

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Benjamin D. Harrell as solicitor general of the State Court of Decatur County. The vacancy in the office of solicitor general of the State Court of Decatur County was created when the Honorable Ryan Cleveland qualified to run for another office. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.

Benjamin D. Harrell
Harrell is a founding partner with Harrell & Lewis, LLC in Camilla. He earned his bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida and his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He and his wife, Bridget, have one child and reside in Bainbridge.
