Deal announces solicitor general appointment
Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Douglas R. Woodruff as solicitor general of the State Court of Catoosa County.
The office of solicitor general of the State Court of Catoosa County was created by the passage of House Bill 674 during the 2015 session of the Georgia General Assembly. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.
Douglas R. Woodruff
Woodruff currently serves as chief assistant public defender for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Adventist University and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He and his wife, Terri, reside in Ringgold.
