Deal receives Appellate Review Commission report

The Georgia Appellate Review Commission today submitted its final report to Gov. Nathan Deal. Deal signed an executive order creating the commission in October 2015.

“I’m grateful for the efforts of the Appellate Review Commission members,” Deal said. “Last fall, I tasked the commission with reviewing the current jurisdictional boundaries of our appellate courts and making assessments about modernizing those courts for efficiencies and to achieve best practices in the administration of justice. I look forward to reviewing their recommendations.”
