Notification of Release of the FY 15 Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention First Time Funding Grant Program Request For Proposal (RFP)

The Governor’s Office for Children and Families, in partnership with Department of Human Services, is pleased to offer a Request for Proposal (RFP) to implement programs that provide parent education, support, and parent training for families with children from birth to age 16 in Georgia. Parent education, support and parent training provides services that help parents improve their parenting of and communication with their children with a goal of reducing risk of child abuse and neglect. The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is a multi-level system of parenting and family support that focuses on enhancing children’s healthy social and emotional development by building the knowledge, skills, and confidence of parents. Applications for the FY 15 Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention First Time Funding Grant Program must be postmarked by May 30th and may only be submitted through certified mail or overnight delivery.
