Deal appoints Fulton County Chief Magistrate

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of the Hon. Cassandra Kirk as Chief Magistrate Judge of Fulton County. The Fulton County Chief Magistrate position will become vacant when Chief Magistrate Stephanie Davis’ term expires on Dec. 31. This appointment is effective Jan. 1.

Kirk is an associate judge with the Fulton County Juvenile Court. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., and law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Va.
