Deal appoints Pataula Judicial Circuit Superior Court judge

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Thomas H. Baxley to the Superior Court judgeship within the Pataula Judicial Circuit. Baxley will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable Ronnie Joe Lane. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.

Thomas H. Baxley

Baxley is currently a solo practitioner in Blakely and has served as State Court judge of Early County since 1995. He earned his bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Georgia. He and his wife have two children and reside in Blakely.
