Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that Viracon, one of North America’s largest architectural glass fabricators, will expand its existing operations in Statesboro, creating 125 jobs and investing $2 million in its Statesboro facility.

Deal: April revenue offers mixed results

Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that Georgia’s net tax collections for the month of April totaled $1.68 billion for a decrease of nearly $50 million, or 2.9 percent, compared to the month-ended April 2013.

Deal: Kimberly-Clark spin-off to locate global headquarters in Alpharetta

Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that Halyard Health, a health care company spin-off of Kimberly-Clark Corporate (NYSE:KMB), is expected to locate its global headquarters in Alpharetta, creating approximately 150-200 new jobs over the next two years. Kimberly-Clark filed a Form 10 Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the planned transaction.
