Deal names Stephens County solicitor-general

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Willie J. Woodruff, Jr., to fill the solicitor-general vacancy in Stephens County. Woodruff’s appointment is effective upon swearing-in.
Willie J. Woodruff, Jr.
Woodruff has been practicing private law in Toccoa since 1982. He served as judge in the city of Toccoa Recorder’s Court from 1995-2010, as well as solicitor of that court from 1992-1995. Woodruff earned his bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law.
