Deal appoints three to boards

Susan Chapman, Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians
Chapman is the clinical manager of nutrition services at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Currently, she is an active member of the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. A registered and licensed dietitian with more than 30 years of experience in clinical nutrition, Chapman has served in clinical management roles at three Atlanta hospitals. She graduated from the University of Georgia and then earned a master’s degree in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. She and her husband, Joseph, have two children. They reside in Decatur. 
 
David R. Orozco, Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians
Orozco is a registered dietitian and nutritionist. He owns t+d wellness ®, a health and wellness business, providing one-on-one nutrition counseling and fitness classes. Orozco is a certified Health Fitness Specialist from the American College of Sports Medicine, a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and a certified Quit Smart® smoking cessation counselor. He earned a master’s degree in Health Science from Georgia State University. He resides in Decatur. 
 
Jean R. Sumner, Board of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities
Sumner is an internal medicine physician practicing in Wrightsville. She is a former member and past president of the Georgia Board of Medicine and currently serves as medical director of the board. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia and a medical degree from Mercer University. She and her husband, Joe, have two children and three grandchildren. They reside in Wrightsville.
