Deal announces judicial appointment within Fulton County

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Eric A. Richardson as State Court judge of Fulton County. Richardson will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable Susan B. Forsling. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.

Eric A. Richardson
Richardson is the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Atlanta. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y., and his law degree from Cornell Law School in Ithaca, N.Y. He and his wife, Karen, have three children and live in Atlanta.
