Deal announces judicial appointment within Bibb County

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Jeffrey B. Hanson as state court judge of Bibb County. Hanson will fill the vacancy created by the passage of House Bill 273 during the 2013 Session of the Georgia General Assembly. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.
Jeffrey B. Hanson
Hanson is the managing partner with Sell & Melton, L.L.P. in Macon. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He and his wife, Ellen, have two sons and live in Macon.
