Deal appoints two to boards

Lisa Y. Kinnemore, State Board of Education
Kinnemore is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County. She served on the board of Northeast Independent Preparatory Academy as the director’s assistant. Kinnemore home educated two of her sons who now attend the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Military College of Georgia. Kinnemore earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. She and her husband, Garry, have three sons and one grandchild. They reside in Stone Mountain.
 
Sandra Reed, State Board of Education
Reed is an obstetrician gynecologist at the Shaw Center for Women’s Health in Thomasville. She has served as president of the Medical Associates of Georgia and the Georgia OB/GYN society. She has also served on numerous state and federal committees establishing health care policies. Most recently, she has served on the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia. Reed received her bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She and her husband, Len, have six children. They reside in Thomasville.
