Deal appoints Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit judge

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of the Hon. E. Trenton “Trent” Brown III to a Superior Court judgeship within the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit, effective upon his swearing-in. Judge Brown will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge John Lee Parrott who resigned on May 19.

E. Trenton Brown III
Brown is the state court judge of Putnam County. He is also sole practitioner at Trenton Brown III, PC in Eatonton. Judge Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the Mercer University School of Law. He and his wife, Jill, live in Eatonton with their two children.
