Deal announces solicitor-general appointment

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Cobb County Chief Assistant Solicitor-General Jessica Moss to fill the solicitor-general vacancy in Cherokee County. The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Hon. David Cannon. The appointment is effective upon Moss’ swearing-in, which will occur in the coming weeks.

Jessica K. Moss
Moss is the chief assistant solicitor-general of the State Court of Cobb County. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brenau University and law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. She and her husband, Garry, live in Ball Ground.
