Deal names Douglas County solicitor-general

Gov. Nathan Deal has appointed Douglas County Chief Assistant Solicitor Matthew C. Krull to fill the county’s solicitor-general vacancy. The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Hon. Brian Fortner, effective April 13, 2012.

Krull is the chief assistant solicitor of Douglas County and has served as the acting solicitor-general since April. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich.
