Deal announces solicitor-general appointment

Gov. Nathan Deal appointed Waycross Judicial Circuit assistant district attorney Katherine L. Peters to fill the solicitor-general vacancy in Coffee County. The vacancy was created by the appointment of the Hon. Jeffrey Kight as Superior Court Judge of the Waycross Judicial Circuit in April.

Katherine L. Peters, Douglas – Peters is the assistant district attorney in the Waycross Judicial Circuit and acting Solicitor-General of Coffee County.  She earned her bachelor degree from Valdosta State University and her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida.
