Deal appoints seven to boards
William B.M. “Bill” Womack, State Board of Registration for Engineers & Land Surveyors
Womack is the owner of Womack & Associates, an electrical engineering consulting firm since 1988. He has also worked for Parson Brinckerhoff Quade and Douglas Inc. and Southwire Company. Womack has been a licensed professional engineer in Georgia since 1979. He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, Georgia Society of Professional Engineers, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, National Fire Protection Association and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. He is the past chairman of the board of Six Star Refugee Partnership, Inc. Womack earned a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. He and his wife, Ellen, have one daughter and two grandsons. They reside in Dunwoody
Joseph D. Frazier, Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission (reappointment)
Frazier owns and operates two small businesses and volunteers at the Shepherd Center. He serves as president of Metro Fair Housing Services, Inc. and treasurer of the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers. He served 14 years on the Kennesaw State University Alumni Association Board of Directors, ending his tenure as president. Frazier earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Conflict Management from Kennesaw State University. Frazier is a high-level quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury sustained in a work-related accident in 1984. He and his wife, Julie, have one daughter, Elizabeth. They reside in Marietta.
Maxine McCullar, State Board of Nursing Home Administrators (reappointment)
McCullar currently serves as chief operating officer at Reliable Health Care and is a member of the Georgia Nursing Home Association. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University and a master’s degree from the University of Alabama. She resides in Acworth.
J. Brent Little, State Board of Occupational Therapy
Little is an occupational therapist with All About Kids Therapy Services in Lawrenceville. He has been practicing occupational therapy for the past 11 years. Little earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University and a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He and his wife, Susan, currently reside in Grayson.
Scott Berry, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council
Berry is the sheriff of Oconee County and has served in that position since his election in 1992. He graduated from the Northeast Georgia Police Academy in 1978 and has worked for the Norcross Police Department and the University of Georgia Police Department. Berry has served as chairman of the Regional All Hazards Council, chairman of the Police Academy Advisory Board, and a member of the Georgia Sheriff’s Retirement Fund. He was elected to be president of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association in 2012. Berry has one son and three stepchildren. He and his wife, Tammye, reside in Watkinsville.
Jane Warnock, Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission (reappointment)
Warnock is an accountant with Ocmulgee Electric where she has been employed for 10 years. Warnock was first appointed to the commission in 2010. She has been an advocate for people with disabilities since her daughter, Christy, received a traumatic brain injury in a car accident in 2002. Warnock and her husband, Howard, have one daughter, Christy. They reside in Eastman.
Carol Roberson, State Board of Nursing Home Administrators (reappointment)
Roberson currently serves as the director of clinical care management for United Clinical Services. She continues to serve on the quality committee for SOURCE at the Georgia Healthcare Association. Roberson earned a degree in Nursing from Cleveland State University. She and her husband, Monty, have two sons. They reside in Mineral Bluff.
