Deal appoints two to boards

Bruce A. Hudson, State Board of Corrections (reappointment)
Hudson has served on the state Board of Corrections for more than 15 years. He is the president of Exxell Developers Inc. and Land Sales Inc., land development companies owned by Hudson and his son, Walter. He and his wife, Janice, have one son and two grandsons. They reside in Douglasville.

Don M. Leebern, Jr., Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (reappointment)
Leebern is chairman of Georgia Crown, Alabama Crown and Tennessee Crown Distributing Companies, a group of wholesale beverage distributors. He previously served as chair of the board of directors of MCG Health Inc., the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, along with other industry and social organizations. Leebern studied business administration at the University of Georgia, where he also played varsity football from 1957 to 1959. He was honored with the Georgia Athletic Association’s “Circle of Distinction” award in 2002. He resides in Athens.
