Deal names Simons to Houston County State Court Clerk

Gov. Nathan Deal today named Kendra H. Simons to replace Gay Valasky as Houston County State Court Clerk, effective Nov. 1. Valasky will resign Oct. 31.

Simons has served the State Court of Houston County for 12 years and worked as deputy clerk since 2003. She attended Macon State College. She and her family reside in Perry.
