Deal announces appointment for the Western Judicial Circuit

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of Regina M. Quick as Superior Court Judge of the Western Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable David R. Sweat. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.

Quick is a solo practitioner in Athens. She currently represents District 117 in the Georgia House of Representatives. Quick received a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. She resides in Athens.
